Polish Poster Art Exhibit 2017

Every year, Austin Polish Film Festival includes a poster exhibit. In the past, we featured individual exhibits of such artists as Leszek Żebrowski or Rafał Olbiński. Both were festival guests and ran workshops for students and interested audience. Michał Poniż, a poster art collector curated the exhibit in 2015 when often the original works of the most recognized poster artists were displayed.  

This year, Michał Poniż sent a collection of Polish posters designed by the luminaries of the genre for both American and Polish films. The exhibit is free and open to the public during the festival at the AFS Cinema. Posters will be available for sale.
